When we talk about express bus companies' customer service, we don't talk about only customer service when you purchase your bus tickets (counters or online), but bus drivers as well.

This is my experience with one of the bus company in Malaysia – Sri Maju.

For me, Sri Maju is one of the best express bus companies in Malaysia. From my grandparents, to my parents and to me, we all take Sri Maju as our company for our journey, and we are right.

Yesterday, when I traveled back from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur (a three hour driving distance), the bus that I was on had tire problem and it shook left and right. It didn't shake frequently but once in a while. Since a lot of news about bus accidents in Malaysia, everyone of us on the bus was afraid of an accident. The bus was full of passengers, if there was an accident, 40 people would get killed.

Almost half way of our journey, one of our passengers went to the bus driver's seat and talked to the driver to drive slowly to avoid accident. HE DID! He did drive slowly, maybe 40km – 50km per hour. The bus was much stable at that speed. We all arrived safely. After arriving at Pudu Raya bus station, we all said thank you to him for his service.

Actually, a lot of bus accidents could be avoided if bus drivers drive carefully. Bus drivers' attitude is the main reason for bus accidents.

I am a very demanding person. If you want me to blog about your company customer service, you'd better give me 99% satisfaction out of 100%. This is a great example as well on how a great customer service influences a blogger to blog about companies.

If any staff or anyone from top management of Sri Maju read this post, please reward the bus driver. I couldn't get the bus driver's name, but the bus detail is:

• Bus Number Plate – 7588
• Date – 24th July 2011
• Time – 3.00pm travel from Ipoh, Perak to Kuala Lumpur

If you could reward him, it will be a good example of other bus drivers and other companies as well to reduce bus accidents.
