As predicted, ads in search engine results are better than ads on social networking sites except the Middle East/Africa market which ads on social networking sites perform better than ads in search engine results.
Since word-of-mouth marketing is very important, social media marketing plays very important role in engaging and influencing your customers so that your customers help you spread your products/services and companies.

Quit your technology job. Get a PhD in the humanities.

"Quit your technology job. Get a PhD in the humanities. That's the way to get ahead in the technology sector."
This is the message from Damon Horowitz told a crowd of attendees at the BiblioTech Conference at Stanford University in 2011. Horowitz is also a serial entrepreneur who co-founded a company, Aardvark, which sold to Google for $50 million. He is presently the In-House Philosopher / Director of Engineering at Google.
If you don't understand what technology and internet about, you may not able to accept this. But bear in mind that, it is human world. As I always said, eventually it is human who use social networking sites, who implement social media marketing plan, who buy your services and products, who interact with you. We are dealing with human everyday.
